KM is a 39-year-old female who has had asthma for the past 30 years. She experiences episodes of shortness of breath and wheezing when exercising and when she comes into contact with cats. These attacks are more frequent in the spring when the pollen count is high. Apart from her asthma, KM is in generally good health.
